This may seem like a stupid question but I believe it deserves an answer if we are to understand the nutritionally adequate diet that leads to good health. I would hope your answer to this question is that you eat to live a healthy life. There are many answers but I believe this is the best.

To prevent cruelty to animals To be more environmentally friendly To provide a healthier diet
The major difference in vegan versus vegetarian diets is that vegetarians consider eggs and milk a suitable food. Vegans object to these foods based upon the conditions used in the production of milk and eggs.
The more main-stream diet
T his type of diet does not restrict the food sources and generally includes some level of meat, milk, eggs, fish, or variety meats that represent the cholesterol containing foods to provide a healthier diet
