The Nutritionally Adequate Diet (continued)
|
In my study of more than 500 individuals suffering from some form of
autism, I have found more than 90% of those surveyed to be lacking
many of the critical nutrients for good brain health. I have identified
more than sixty nutrients that are critical to good brain health and
these have been shown to be lacking in autistic children.
The good news is that one can easily ensure that none of these
nutrients are deficient in the diet by simply comparing the nutrients in
the brain to those contained in the diet being provided. Adjustments
can then be made to eliminate those deficiencies.
I would caution that this cannot be accomplished by the food ads,
the general recommendations of the scientific community or by those
of the medical professions.
The evidence of the nutritional composition contained in the various
foods, (the brain, heart, liver, kidneys, or many of the other organs),
is readily available in the USDA Nutrient Database. In my newest
book, “Autism Natural Prevention, Treatment and Healing, Book
IV” I have provided this data for the major food types in graphical as
well as in table format. The Table of Contents (which can be viewed
on my website) shows all of the comparisons included in the book.
The next question is: Are you feeding a diet that is nutritionally
adequate...based upon food facts rather than being based upon
marketing hype or other agenda-driven recommendations?
My only agenda is for your good health and freedom
from these chronic disorders.
I have no products to sell, and all foods recommended
are readily available in most grocery store
